I have started to eat millet now too, but not sure how safe it is. I get the grain kind, as I have never seen it in flake form. I would prefer the flake kind because it seems like it would be safer.
That being said, it is a great source of fiber, but mostly all the fiber is IF. So, Chrissy is problably right about having it with more SF based veggies like squash, carrots, and pumpkin. I do eat it with green beans and spinach too, but I am just starting to try this, so I am just at the experimenting stage.
Honestly, I am so bad at trying to figure out triggers, that I could be eating it and it could be causing problems and I wouldn't even know it because I am always hurting and having symptoms.
I wish I could find millet in flake form. I just make sure I cook the millet longer than it says to, and add extra water so that it comes out more mushy than it is suppose to.
