HNC are soluble for the most part (and yes I am eating a bowl as I write. ). They have some ground nuts but very little and the whole grain is oats so that is okay.
Watermelon and other melons are IF but I find for me they are some harder to tolerate IF. Something like peaches are easier to digest. For me a big bowl of melon is the most touchy of fruits to eat (unfortunately some of my favorite)
Remember the mash rule: if it mashes it is SF if not it is IF. I like putting dried fruit in oatmeal or baked goods to add IF.
