Uh, I think the answer is yes (what was the question? I'm fogged). Anyway, if you get any gas or bloating from increasing your dose too fast, this will go away on it's own as your body adjusts to the SFS. That does sound like quite a fast increase btw.
My GP put me on a SFS before I'd found Heather and I went straight to the regular dose! Boy was I gassy ...but that eased after a couple of weeks.
If your BMs have improved already I'd stick with it personally and your gas should ease in a bit (the SFS will help with the general gas once your body adjusts so it should go down even if you haven't had any extra from increasing the dose fast). Give it a few more weeks and then hopefully you'll see some improvement...or will want to try a different one.
