Hi - no, it's not bad for you. It does sound like something you probably won't be taking unless you have a specific medical need for it. It is water soluble, not fat soluble, which means it can't be stored in fatty tissues of the body. This makes for no risk of overdose (as opposed to fat soluble vitamins like A). You have to take vitamin K through injections, according to the info I posted.

Have you had a doctor tell you to take this? Is there a specific reason you need it that has to do with IBS?
