Personally, I have found that no matter what I eat can potentially give me gas. I have not managed to find that it is this or that type of food/ drink. It has happened that I eat plain white rice and get gas, it has happened that I eat a whole greasy pizza and get none. My gut works in its own mysterious way.
If I were you, I would try to see if that type of food helps my C - which is a more important problem - and try to ignore the gas as much as possible, though from experience I know how difficult this can be!
