Actually, the stronger the brew the better...

it's just a matter of what you can tolerate for the taste. Personally, I like the stuff brewed very strongly (my peppermint tea is black!) But if that will keep you from wanting to actually drink it, then brew it to taste. There's no bad side effects or risks from the IBS-friendly herbs, so use generously and often.
