Hi! When I was diagnosed with IBS my doc told me that the only thing they found in the lower GI test was that I had an especially long colon. Great! I thought. lol It's weird though because I hardly ever get C (mostly D) and one would think that with a longer colon it would be C, right?

Haha... I've never heard it called redundant colon before, that's kind of funny! You'd think our GI systems had personalities of their own with all the names they come up with for them (spastic, redudent...) lol

Sorry that probably wasn't very helpful. Have you trid the diet on this website? It's not confusing at all. Just read all the pages and give it a try. Lots of people have had great success with it (C & D).

And by the way, welcome! Glad you found us, this is a great place to come with all your IBS-related problems. There's always SOMEONE else who's going through what you are. Anyway, give the diet and some of the other tips on this website a try and keep us updated as to how you're doing!
