My mom had a partial hysterectomy and recovered completely. Her bladder had 'dropped' and her uterus and other organs down there were messed up. This was a couple of years ago, I think that she was 45 at the time. She has never had any problems since. I'm thinking that I may run into problems like this when I get older. I know that my cramps during my period are horribe, and right before is when my IBS-symptoms get the ugliest.
