A Couple of ideas: use juice instead - unsweetened cranberry is usually a safe choice for IBS. Mix it with your choice of berries and you may want to add a bit of sugar to taste.
SEcondly - what kind of soy milk were you using? Some are better than others. For example: I love Silk brand Chocolate but not their vanilla. I like SO Good brand strawberry flavour and their vanilla. It might just be a matter of finding the right brand. See other strands for ideas as to which flavours and brands are best.
Otherwise, substitute with juice - it makes it more like a slushie but just as yummy!!!!
