Re: Drink Ideas Hello Smoothies!       07/29/03 09:42 AM Edit Reply Quote Yoda (formerly Hans) Reged: 01/22/03 Posts: 3682 Loc: Canada If you can tolerate soy milk or almond or rice, try this: (if you want exact measurements check out Heather's strawberry smoothie on the recipe board) 1/2 banana handful fresh/frozen fruit such as strawberries, blueberries, peaches, WHATEVER a squirt (tablespoon) honey 1/4 to 1/2 cup soy milk to taste and consistency a few ice cubes to taste and consistency I love smoothies! I used to make them all the time for myself and my 22 month old. A nice cold treat in the afternoon plus you get some fruit and the stabilizing banana and soy milk. Get creative and try your own variations. It doesn't have to be complicated. Put it in a funky glass with a neat straw and you've got yourself a real treat. -------------------- Formerly HanSolo.
