I am embarrassed to ask you all this but I really need to know. I went from severe IBS-D to IBS-C only because I started taking Effexor. It really has changed my life for the better. But now I often go over a week without a BM. I know this is not good for me, besides the way it makes me feel. My main concern is I have gained about 25 pounds in last few months. I have been trying to loose weight! Plus I just had a Breast Reduction and they took 10 lbs off of me and I weigh more than when I went in for surgery... Anyway, I am wondering if all the "Crap" (literally) inside of me could be making me gain more weight? Could my body still be asorbing calories because I am not getting rid of the waste like normal? I don't know what to do and I have been considering trying a cleanse...but then I have read on here to be careful of those too! HELP????!!!!!
