Fiber - Diverticiculosis       07/26/03 01:04 PM Edit Reply Quote ArtKen Reged: 07/12/03 Posts: 301 Loc: Brantford, Ontario, Canada I have had IBS problem for a number of years because of diverticulosis. It became more bothersome after gall bladder surgery. I do take Metamucil on a daily basis as advised by by family physician as well as my naturopath doctor. Given the fact that I do take Metamucil then do I have to worry about additional fiber. I seem to have a hard time if I have too many salads especially Caesar, This could be due to loss of gall bladder. I was also surprised to see that you suggested 16 glasses of water a day on another post. I have a frequency problem now due to prosta problems but that much water I'd be afraid to go any where.
