Hey Ruchie! Everyone had great advice. I just have one last thing...a little quirky, but hey - that's me! 
I kind of set little goals for myself. I can't have that (fill in the blank here) until I (fill in second blank here).
For example: I can't have a brownie until I clean the bathroom. Or I can't have some sorbet until I walk around the block 5 times. Etc, etc, etc.
Sometimes, I get involved in doing something, then I start doing something else and completely forget I was supposed to get my "treat"!  But then, I have a tendency to do that when I'm talking to my friends also. You know, I'll be talking about one thing, which reminds me of another, which reminds me of something else, but then oh wait...I haven't finished the original story yet!  I call this "branching out". LOL
