Be careful you guys!
These kinds of foods sometimes give short term relief for C but they are not good for an IBS colon overall. You want to encourage regularity by upping your Sf and carefully incorporating insoluble F into your diet. That way the colon has what I call "smooth and frinedly" contractions rather than swinging wildly from nothing to something.
Foods like dairy can help in the short term but can cause C to stick around.
Everyone is different and food choices are individual but I have honestly found that the best approach to being C free long term is to follow heather's dietary guidelines. It takes a while but you need to keep at it.
I'm not on a soap box or anything but thought you might like to hear from someone who has been there and tried all that. Kerrie
