I'm not exactly sure how things are during pregnancy (YET ), but I am also a C'er. I CAN tell you that the Benefiber in pill form have sorbitol in them, which can be a trigger... if Benefiber is what works best for you, you really should be using the powder instead. Also, have you asked your OB about Mirilax? It has been proven safe during pregnancy, however, I'm not sure if it matters how far you are before beginning it. Mirilax is not a stimulant laxitive, it uses the moisture in your colon to help relieve C... you just need to be sure to drink plenty of water to help it work .
I hope you feel better soon... and good luck with your delivery! You must be getting really excited!
PS - I should probably mention that I'm currently trying to conceive and my doctor assures me that the Mirilax is quite safe.
