Hi J.C.! I'm new too and loving my new outlook on IBS. I've been on the "diet" for about a week and do feel better. Glad I found Heather! I was diagnosed with IBS in my early 20's and have had many frustrating times with it since then. I don't even have to name any of them since we've all experienced the same things. I am truly amazed at this board to have found so many who have been dealing with the same issues. The three doctors I've been to about my IBS have been wonderful and have done the best they could for me but never suggested an alternative diet. My current doctor is my husband and he has me on an antispasmodic. That's all he was taught in med school and residency! Anyway, welcome and good luck on your new path to feeling great!
