Hey again. I stopped taking Tylenol PM, stopped singing, stopped counting. I found a seven step relaxation technique in Herbert Benson's Beyond the Relaxation Response that involves simple tried and true steps like body relaxation, breathing, saying a focus word, breathing, checking in with each muscle again. It kept me so busy feeling comfortable, I fell asleep. Honest to God, I didn't think I'd ever sleep again, but I think the cycle is broken. When the next round of hormones comes, I have one more tool in my sleep kit. Thanks for hanging in there with me.
