Hi guys,
I wanted to see if anyone else has had this, or if this is probably something other then the IBS. I went in yesterday for a transvaginal ultrasound, and when she was moving the wand around I was in a lot of pain, felt like someone jabbing me hard with something (although she was being gentle). Now since it's been over I've been so crampy all over my abdomen and just feel icky. I don't have D or C right now, been going relatively regularly, although not a whole lot at a time, but at least a little.
I had been diagnosed with interstitial cystitis a few years ago, and my gi doctor thinks that I may not have IC and it's just the IBS, but I don't know if I believe the pain from IBS feels the same as the pain in IC.
Have anyone had this type of pain after a Transvaginal Ultrasound? Also, do anyone have a lot of pain with sex (I know getting very personal here)? I've had pain for years, mostly deep penetration, that's what brought me the the IC doctor in the first place because I never had that kind of pain before, and it is not going away with me cutting out all the foods I have with IBS.
Just wanted to see if anyone has had anything similiar to this.
Thanks, Debra
