cranberry juice is supposedly the safest juice for IBSers. be sure to read the label and choose one without high fructose corn syrup, if you are sensitive to high fructose corn syrup (I am not very, and can handle a little). I think other people on this site said they can handle small amounts of Orange juice with a meal. However, I personally can't handle anything with acid.

Heather's book says that fruit juices, such as apple, pear and prune are typically not safe. I believe it is because the natuaral fruit sugars (fructose) are so concentrated, and can upset your stomach.

Cranberry is the safest choice.
