Not sure if you were still wondering about the heart shaped heating pad...It does go in the microwave (for 1-2 mins, not longer or it will be TOO hot) It will stay hot for about 10 mins and warm for another 20 mins. The aromatherapy is an added benefit too They do have other sizes, I am not sure if a larger one would hold the heat longer. I use it for cramps, headaches, muscles aches...As I said, I love it!
