I found your story amazing. I can't imagine being that sick as a kid and feeling like you had to face it on your own. Although, I guess I can relate to that a bit too. I have had "stomach troubles" since about age 12.(I'm now 37, I think!) I was also put in the hospital for low weight (65lbs., I'm 5'1"). I was diagnosed with anorexia, but that wasn't really the problem. It was my stomach troubles that got me to that weight. Anyway, I also have a rather limited definition of what food is. My family just rolls their eyes. My sister believes that if I would only eat 7 pieces of fruit a day, I would feel better...

Just wanted to say that I find your story inspirational. You have a lot to deal with on a daily basis, but you have this sort of jaunty attitude that gets you through it. Most days, I feel like I need more of that attitude. Good luck with everything.
