Just because we are all used to having bad tummies because of IBS a lot of the time, we may too easily miss something totally non-IBS related. This sounds to me more like gastric flu/food poisoning. So if it continues more than 24 hours, go to the doctor. As always with diarrhoea, drink plenty of fluids to avoid dehydration! Eat dry toast or something similar - but keep it very plain.
