Jamie, welcome to the boards! You're among friends here. As for the insoluble fiber, add it slowly. Base your diet on the soluble fibre, and then slowly add in insolubles to the point that you can tolerate. Everyone is different. Just introduce insolubles one at a time, I would start with cooked carrots. Mash, cook, peel and puree are your new best friends. Make sure your insolubles follow these rules.
