GERD/peppermint/anti-spasmodic!       12/15/04 02:18 AM Edit Reply Quote samuamu Reged: 12/15/04 Posts: 8 Hi guys! This is my first posting, so be nice! I have a question about gerd & peppermint oil/capsules. I have been diagnosed with GERD, IBS and slow colonic transfer. I am taking nexium (perscription medicine) for the symptoms of GERD, I tried peppermint capsules today and had a awesome day in relation to my IBS, I am a bit weary as I read that peppermint can affect my GERD symptoms. Is there a better option for a anti-spasmodic that dosn't interfere with my GERD symptoms?? also would the nexium cancel the symptoms out in relation to GERD?
