Metamucil and Diarrhia       12/05/04 08:32 AM Edit Reply Quote ArtKen Reged: 07/12/03 Posts: 301 Loc: Brantford, Ontario, Canada Have not been on board for a while as fairly stable. However last few days more bothered with either diverticulous or IBS. Last night had a Chineese buffet supper and immediately came down with diarrhia after which I stopped with Immodium. But my question is I am required to take Metamucil on a daily basis. In the case of loose stool then should I stop? I am getting mixed advice. Our provincial government that operates a 24 hour service for free that you talk directly to a registered nurse says not to but other advice including Heather's book says to continue.
