Re: Sorbitol in colace has me worried       11/29/04 08:51 PM Edit Reply Quote DanaNoel Reged: 04/06/04 Posts: 144 Loc: Houston, Texas The tiny amount of sorbitol in the Colace really doesn't bother me, but stool softners are notorious for causing gas pains and cramping. I always thought it was strange that they added sorbitol to a stool softner. I mean, it's a pill. I am not eating it right. Who cares what it tastes like. I want to tell the manufacturers to leave it alone already. Maybe look for the generic Colace (in every supermarket) to see if they contain sorbitol as well. You may get lucky!
