I took the pill for close to 17 years! ![](/messageboards/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif)
Aside from the obvious... one good thing about the pill, and some more than others, is, it has chemicals in it to control achne. Pimples are also a sign of menstruation, so my guess is this may not be the last time you see them. ![](/messageboards/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif)
As for your BM's... you're going through some heavy duty hormonal changes now that you're off the pill. Your body is trying to regulate itself, and will do so for a while. Depending on which pill you were taking, it can take a year and sometimes more to finally be back to normal again. You might experience the same thing next month, or quite the opposite.
What I'm trying to say is, I wouldn't read too much into it, this early in the game. You're more than likely to see or experience lots of other things you wouldn't have while you were on the pill, while your body adapts to not being controlled by a chemical.
My advice... try to relax about it. Stressing about it will make your tummy act up and could lead to a worse period. Drink some chamomile tea (which studies show, help with PMS symptoms) and enjoy being off the pill!
