Wow thank you Daliatree! It feels so good to have support from people who understand. Yep you're right I almost had the problem sorted but bloating is a huge issue for me. So perhaps I'll go back to my previous diet which had much more insoluble fibre (in the form of fruit and veg) and will follow Heathers tips about peeling the skin and removing the seeds. I usually have tuna salads for lunch but now have rice, so I think the best compromise is a tuna salad with rice! Fingers crossed it will bring the BM back but not the tummy spasms!
