I am IBS_C and my doctor put me on Alavil after my colonoscopy. Well I found out from here and Heather's book that this is usedfor IBS-D not C! My doctor is no longer my doctor for that and other reasons, but I stopped taking it. I wanted to manage this with eating right and so far so good. I would be curious what is the best out there for C in case I would ever need it!
