Hi Heather, Good for you for deciding to get back on the "IBS Friendly" wagon. I know how hard it is to stick to the diet, especially when you eat a few 'no-no' foods and are alright. I just recently realised that most of the time, I don't eat 'cause I'm hungry - I can eat a relatively small amount and not feel hungry. I eat for all kinds of other reasons, though, which I think lots of women have problems with. I eat when I'm bored, when I'm upset, when I'm lonely (that is a big one for me as I spend a lot of time alone in the UK since I have no family/friends here). For some reason, when I am feeling all those yucky things, rice and grilled chicken just don't do it for me! I am doing better, though, now that I recognised that's what I've been doing.
I'm sorry you're been suffering the last couple of days, even if you can see it coming it doesn't make it any easier to deal with when you are feeling yucky. At least now that you've decided to get back on the wagon, there's a light at the end of the tunnel, right?
I hope you start to feel better ASAP and can tell all those bad foods where to go! --Steph
