Several of you gals have given me advice over the past week, since I've started Heather's diet. After 3 days of not being able to have a bm (despite the urge to go), I resorted to taking Zelnorm this morning. I was still very constipated, but atleast was able to get some movement.
I'm worried that too much soluble fiber foods (pasta, rice, breads) might be slowing things down. This diet has definitely decreased by previous gas & bloating problems, but I feel like my bowels have become more sluggish.
Did anyone else feel this way when they first started this diet? Will this problem resolve itself?
