I bought Lucinda's entire program and it is great. She also had IBS symptoms, so she knows what she is talking about. I used to not go anywhere, because I would freak out and worry about my stomach. Sitting in meetings or church would just freak me out also, I am constantly was always constantly waiting for my stomach to make a weird noise or something. I always had to know where a bathroom was or sit by the door so I could make a fast get away.

But i use the skills that Lucinda teaches and I do alot better now. However, I did have a panic attack last night, but it was due to me accidently eating some MSG, and I was able to get through it okay by talking to myself like Lucinda teaches. I highly recommend her book, because the entire program is about $400 which is expensive, I think the book was only about $20.

Example of what she tells you to do. If you are having panicky feelings: accept that the feelings are natural and that you aren't the only person in the world that feels this way, give yourself permission to feel anxious, breathe and count your breathes (it helps you concentrate on something else),talk to your self with positive statements such as "this too shall pass, it always does pass, these feelings don't last forever", distract yourself.
