New Job       10/25/04 08:37 PM Edit Reply Quote stevensa Reged: 09/12/04 Posts: 132 Loc: Texas I am going to begin a new job shortly and my doctor is thinking about prescribing me an antidepressant (I'll know more soon). My concerns are: 1) how will this go over on my drug screen? and 2)I'm afraid to begin, considering some of the side effects people have gone through (ex. D & "drugged out" feelings). I don't want to say anything up front in case they decide that I may be at risk for absences. I've only called off of work twice in the fifteen years that I've been working as an adult. Also, since I work in the medical field I am concerned about the use of antidepressants at work. If anybody has any advice or may know someone in a similiar situation, I'd love to hear from you.
