The Pamprin made me really, memorably ill, and this was way before I had IBS--I had diarrhea and was kind of "loopy" and just wanted to sleep. It's been almost ten years and I remember how awful I felt. The Midol didn't give me any problems that I remember, though. Would that be something to try instead?
