yes- stress can cause heavier periods in some women.. also... if you're new to the diet and were getting lots of calciuma nd aren't getting as much now... calcium actually improves periods- lighter and less painful... at least according to my doc and that seemed to hold true.. and my first period on heathers diet was nasty because I wasn't getting as much calcium, but now that seems to have become better with the last period- don't know if I've increased the calcium intake more then I planned or if its just better.
