Fibro isn't progressive in that it's not like MS where there is a continuous worsening of symptoms. However, Fibro can get worse, especially when something else is going on with you. For example, my IBS getting bad made my Fibro get bad. I guess the stresses of life with jobs and family explain why alot of patient do get worse during their twenties and thirties. Great, huh?

You have to be SO careful with exercise, especially at first when you're not so good at recognising your limits. I heard you should try and stop when you've used half of your available energy, but this is very hard to judge. Go for a shorter, slower walk next time. You won't be able to do much at times, but even just walking to the end of the garden (remember, mine is small ) is better than nothing.

Yep, Benadryl and it's ilk are v. counterproductive. Can't you just ask your doc for Ambien?

I guess the severity of symptoms with this is just like with something like asthma. Some have it real bad, some have it mildly.
