Hello and Welcome to the boards. I am also IBS-C and still on occasion have problems, especially the closer I get to my period. I wanted to mention to you that the key to success with C is plenty of water, excercise, and veggies. However, DO NOT over-do it with the veggies, otherwise they can cause more gas and bloating. Cook the veggies till they are VERY done and put them in a blender. Or if you prefer not to blend them, cook them well and eat a small portion at the END of your meals. It really helps me if I encorporate some kind of insoluble fiber with every meal, whether it be fruits or veggies or even beans. If you're already having trouble with bloating and gas though, it really is important to try not to over do-it with the insolubles. Here's a list of the insolubles if you haven't already seen it... insoluble foods
Good luck, and feel free to ask more questions!
PS. One thing I forgot to mention is your SFS... I'm one of the few who can tolerate Benefiber. It's very important to keep using an SFS, the trick is finding the one that works the best for you. In any case, you need to start at a very low dose, and very gradually increase.
