Some people do really well with just one cap a day, but others need to take several a day to see results - there seems to be a lot of individual variation here. Might also vary how you take them - try right before a meal (that works best for me), but then also try taking one (or even two at a time) on an empty stomach about an hour before a meal. I've even heard from someone who gets the best result when they take the caps on a full stomach right after a meal (I tried this and did not like the full, sort of heartburn-y feeling I got, which I never have when I take the caps before meals).
