Weight gain       09/10/04 05:08 AM Edit Reply Quote TheresaM Reged: 07/29/04 Posts: 4 I have gained about five pounds in the past couple of months and my waist can increase by as much as 2 inches by the end of the day. Is any of this attributable to the bloating or other side effects of IBS? I am not eating any more calories, although I try to eat snacks at night so I can sleep (and get up the next morning) without my stomach being in knots.
