I don't know about your particular drug but if it is anything like Zoloft, I felt ill (nausea, pain) for 1-2 weeks. Better anxiety wise by 3 weeks, much better by 4 weeks and now at 8 weeks I feel great - cheerful, relaxed. Better each week. I have a little dizziness but not too bad. As far as side effects my doctor said the side effects are not dose related. In other words, as I increase my dosage my side effects will not get any worse & probably get better as time goes by. Hang in there. I too would wake up with a panic attack & arms crawling, just awful way to start the day.
