Ok, I know you guys are sick of me talking about the darn antidepressants already, but I just want to make sure that what I'm experiencing is within the realm of "normal". Getting in touch with my doctor is a major ordeal - I go to a community health center, and you can't just call with simple questions, you have to make an appointment and then wait 1-2 weeks - yes, just to ask a question! I know I can call the pharmacy, but of course they don't know everything about my condition, and they won't be open till Tuesday anyway.
*Anyway*, my point is, I just want to see if I'm being a ridiculous worrywart about the drugs before I go through this massive ordeal to try to talk to a doctor or pharmacist. This will be the last of my silly questions unless something drastic happens, I promise.
I'm experiencing:
- Occasional diarrhea & cramping
- Constant low-level dizziness, with brief spells of REALLY bad dizziness and nausea
- I'm sleeping 14-16 hours a day.
- Loss of appetite
- Total loss of desire to do anything but lay in bed and/or sleep, mostly because I'm too tired
- Occasional double vision
- Moodiness
I'm taking Lexapro... I'm on the first-week dose of 5mg, or half a pill a day. I've been basically bedridden since I started it on Wednesday (5 days ago). I can't even imagine how wrecked I'm going to be when I increase to the full dose.
On the plus side, I DO feel more relaxed already. Then again, I guess anyone would be after sleeping 16 hours. LOL
