Questions for Linz on amitriptyline       09/03/04 11:07 AM Edit Reply Quote jeenerz Reged: 07/10/04 Posts: 212 Loc: Northwest Montana Hi, My GI just put me on amitriptyline this week for IBS symptoms. I have to take 1 pill (10 mg) each night in hopes of stopping the spasms that occur the 1st couple of hours each morning. If you don't mind my asking, what were your symptoms and how did the amitriptyline help you? And also, do you remember how long it took before you noticed it made a difference?
