The Elavil worked to settle my system down long enough so I could eat and go to classes. I was on it for about a year and now I'm off of it again. I did have to make a concentrated effort to lose all of the weight I gained on it (probably about 15 pounds). If you have awesome willpower you wouldn't gain any weight as it causes terrible cravings. (At least it did for me). Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
