Milk of Mag - Am I sorry!       08/27/04 12:02 PM Edit Reply Quote JayJay Reged: 08/02/04 Posts: 9 Loc: Northern New Jersey After reading a couple of posts I decided that I needed some relief from the brick I've been carrying. Just a respite, that's all I wanted. On Weds I took 3 tbs of MOM and it hardly had any effect. So last night I upped the dosage to the suggested max (4 tbs). Well I have had really severe urges all day - it's now 3PM -and I've visited the restroom at work about 15 times. Even with that the "movements" are really insignificant and I have used many protective pads when unable to get there in time. My butt is so sore that it hurts and I have moved up my appointment with my GI doc to Monday. I have been been diagnosed with IBS-C and have made major dietary changes in the last month with little improvement. I need to really make sure that IBS is all I have because nothing I do seems to help. Any comments would be appreciated. I am 61 and I guess fortunate that I've only had this for a year but you know how frustrating and debilitating this can be. Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
