anti-depressants for IBS       02/05/12 11:44 AM Edit Reply Quote Beamer Reged: 02/02/12 Posts: 6 Loc: Canada I am currently on .25mg Xanax 3 times a day for anxiety with IBS. Doesn't seem to work all the time. Wears off too quickly and too long inbetween doses. Last year I was weaned off a mild anti-depressant and I'm wondering if it would help to go back on it?
