I just posted about this a few weeks ago (you can do a search on "Seinfeld"). I agree with the other poster...make sure you try with veggies that you are safe with but otherwise...ABSOLUTELY. Pureeing the veggies breaks them down to the smallest form that will help you digest them. It is just like eating baby jar food which is recommended on this diet. I have tried some of the recipes from the book and been fine with the carrots in sauce/broccoli as chicken coating/and cauliflower in mashed potatoes. However, the second time I used the cauliflower, I got horrible gas. I think I put in too much. (But my kids had no idea!) Take it slowly but I think it's a good idea for IBSers.
