When I first got IBS, my doc gave me Lexapro and It worked WONDERS for me. My anxiety was gone, my IBS was gone and my depression was gone also... It was a good med for me... I only took it for 6 months though because I didn't want to depend on medication. I suggest that you look at your diet and try to identify your triggers. Also, what's causing you anxiety?? As soon as I found out the root of my problems and I faced them, my anxiety went away and my tummy calmed down.... So If you are feeling really bad, maybe Lexapro could help you temporaly...
