I haven't posted on this message board for a long time, but I happened to see your post and thought I'd write to encourage you to try the hypnosis for IBS CD's. I have had IBS since I was 12 years old, now I'm 45, and nothing helped me as much as this program by Michael Mahoney. I had the same problems you do, bad painful stomach attacks and was afraid to go out places - about a year ago I ordered the CD's and really stuck strictly to the program and I have only had a couple stomach attacks since. My biggest problem now is gas, which is better than stomach attacks! Check out the Hypnosis message board on Heather's web site. Hypnosis helps most people that do it. Hope that helps!
