My last doctor (doctor #4 in the past 6 years) performed a colonoscopy while I was awake, which was so painful that I started crying halfway through it. Needless to say I never went back, but I do need to get a second opinion on the results. I have a redundant colon and a narrow passage at the end, which makes my IBS-C even more of a challenge. I've been following this diet for 4 months and at first I was better, but the past 2 months I haven't been well at all. I'm hoping a new doctor, one who understands IBS and the benefits of this diet, will be able to help me.
