you ache a lot from the day befores yoga session?? Ive just started back and I am wondering what to do. I love doing yoga and want to do it daily however today I really ache and wonder what I should do.
Also, how long per day should I be doing yoga for? Yesterday I did 1 hour hence achy but perhaps I should do shorter sessions??
It's difficult, the yoga DVD I do is split into the following sections: Warm Up Sun and Moon Strength Bliss Cool Down
Usually I follow Warm up, bliss, cool down and that 1 hours worth.
What would u suggest? Niki xxx

I'd practice, but go a bit easier, be slower and more gentle than usual. You should only ache from a hard workout for a few days, and being gently active while your muscles recover will actually help you. After just a few days you should be able to go into your full-on practice again, and the more you do that the less sore you'll be after a hard workout. It's just like any other exercise - when it's new, you'll get sore and achy, but the more you do it the more in-shape you'll get and the easier it will be for you to have a daily workout without the soreness.
